Professional Background
- Currently, I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at Erasmus MC, where I previously completed my Ph.D. in Molecular Virology (2020–2024), focusing on HIV and HBV, particularly viral replication and immunotherapeutic strategies.
Before my Ph.D., I pursued a Research Master’s in Infection and Immunity at Erasmus MC (2018–2020), during which I completed two research
internships. My first internship at the Department of Medical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases focused on combination antibiotic therapies against Mycobacterium abscessus, evaluating the efficacy and stability of omadacycline, amikacin, and imipenem.
My second internship at the Department of Biochemistry involved developing a human liver organoid model to study HBV infection and related tumorigenesis, successfully establishing a complete HBV replication cycle in primary liver cells.
Earlier in my career, I worked as a Quality Control Executive at Eskayef
Bangladesh Limited and ACI Pharmaceuticals Limited (2017–2018).
Additionally, I conducted research at ideSHi in Bangladesh (2016–2017),
contributing to projects on infectious diseases and genetic disorders.
